Back in high school, I fell in love with woodworking. From the first day in the wood shop, I was hooked. I still have the wood mallet I made for which I got top marks. My projects were showcased in the school and my teachers couldn’t believe a kid my age could create these great pieces. 

My career led me to RV repair and I became a Journeyman Recreational Vehicle Technician and have worked in the industry for the last 16 years. The best part of this job is working on carpentry projects. From repairing damaged cabinets to rebuilding the cap of a fifth wheel, whenever I was covered in sawdust or had slivers in my fingers, I was happy. 

As I take the next step in my journey, my passion for creating unique wood projects is where my path is leading. Through the support of the Hamilton Craft Studios, I have become the wood artist that has always been in me. 

In the summer 2024, we moved to Grand Valley, Ontario.

I'm the behind-the-scenes coordinator at Cunning Design Co. I'm the administrator, photographer, bookkeeper, and occasionally a collaborator.
